There are now multiple options to store files in the cloud - Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, DIgitalOcean Spaces. The difficult part though is that all of them have different pricing model, and some hold costs which are not always visible, until the bill arrives.
Of partcular interest is the new arrival - DIgitalOcean Spaces. They do start with a set monthly fee of $5.00 per month. If you store little data (under 200GB) this approach may cost a bit more to the more traditional approach of the begemtoths (Amazon, Google and Microsoft). However once your data grows, the DigitalOcean pricing odel shows definite advantage.
